Glom – Fire

Glom – Fire

I hear this online and just fell in love. The dreamy and groovy strumming just takes you with it from the first bar onwards.. The the bridge and chorus is just genius songwriting! Really well done. love it!

They say: “Fire” is driven by rhythmic intricacies between the bass, drums, and guitars. Each instrument holds down different spaces, weaving by the other before coming together during the choruses. They also create an interesting sonic bed on top of which the vocals truly shine. During the bridge “Fire” morphs into organized chaos where each instrument begins to impede upon the other’s space – fuzed out vocals on top – until finally, the song releases into its climactic final chorus.  The single release continues an artistic partnership between Rachel Hayden, Slow Process and Dodge 112, who are all cornerstones of Glom’s deeply intertwined creative community. Rachel Hayden, an emerging artist, has made all of the artwork for the record and the band plans to collaborate on an upcoming collection from clothing brand Slow Process – linked to Merit – that would tie all three disciplines together.
